Born in a Swiss town (famous for Chaplin and chocolate) and raised in a environment rich with diverse cultural influences: her grandfather was born and raised in Africa; her grandmother was a painter, Lena's home was her first storybook. Her journey from Swiss advertising whiz (keeping the Swiss radio and TV landscape alive with a campaign that echoed all the way to the U.S.) to L.A. screenwriter is a tale in itself.
Once dreaming of Formula 1, the lack of female representation in the sport pushed her to write about it instead. Lena moved to Los Angeles in 2018. There, she honed her craft and graduated from the New York Film Academy of Los Angeles. Swiss roots, L.A. shoots, she's as multilingual (French, German, English) as she is multifaceted.
Today, Lena continues to craft narratives that resonate across cultures, all while she continues to advocate to make Taco Tuesday a National Holiday.
