Lena Murisier is an award-winning writer with a number of TV series’, feature films and documentaries at various stages of development and production. Recently, Lena was in the Writers’ Room of the BBC, BAFTA-Winning, Emmy- Nominated series “Secret Life of Boys” to edit storylines and punch up jokes.
Lena was raised by a single parent in a multicultural home: her grandfather was born and raised in Africa; her grandmother was a renowned painter. Lena grew up in Switzerland, neighbor to Charlie Chaplin’s grandchildren. Lena wanted to become a Formula 1 race car driver, but the lack of representation in the sport pushed her to write about it instead. She is fascinated with true crime, always has a book in her hands, and religiously partakes in Taco Tuesday.
Lena speaks and writes in English, French, and German. She is originally from Switzerland, where she made a career in marketing and advertising. She moved to Los Angeles in 2018 to pursue a career in screenwriting and graduated from the New York Film Academy of Los Angeles.
Lena’s screenplays and short films have won many festivals and contests. She has several projects in production, pre-production and different stages of development.
